I hate to say this about my own little doggie child, but Patsy is not photogenic. She gets stiff and refuses to look at the camera pretty much any time I try to snap a shot of her, but she was so insanely happy at the beach for this Sullivan’s Island trip that she was being so adorable! I took her to the beach for the first time a few months ago and she was so in her element, I knew that if I wanted to get some good pictures of her all I had to do was let her run around and play for a while and we would be able to capture that expression of pure joy on her little face.
It still trips me out that I can go to the beach any time I want. I explained in an earlier post that the two main beaches in Charleston are Sullivan’s Island and Folly Beach, and while Folly is closer to where I live, I might have been converted to a Sullivan’s Island fan after visiting this remote area. My photographer Nicole showed me a secret place that not that many people know about, and I’m really excited to go back again when the weather gets warmer!
Happy Thursday, friends! I’ve got an exciting weekend ahead! Some of you know about the new contract work I’ve been doing in Charleston since I moved here, but for those of you who don’t, I’ll be chatting about it on my Instagram this weekend.
