┬áSo, it’s Sunday afternoon and I’m watching 21 Jump Street with Mike. He’s in town for a few days from LA and we have had the craziest, best weekend so far.

If you didn’t know, Mike is an actor, and he moved to LA from Austin about 6 months ago to pursue that, so we have been doing the long distance thing. Even though it can be hard at times to be apart, I admire him so much for taking such a huge leap and following his dreams. It’s not easy to take the road less traveled! Anyway, we traveled to Dallas for a few days for the world premiere of an independent film he did called Bomb City. First of all, I want to just say how amazing it was! I got to meet all the people involved in the film and it was incredible to see them experience the premiere and get the recognition for all their hard work. It was a great opportunity for Mike to be involved in a project like this, and I couldn’t be more proud! He got to walk the red carpet, be interviewed by reporters, and celebrate with everyone afterward. We had an amazing time! Then, on Saturday, we dropped by my home town and hung out with my family for my niece’s 3rd birthday! What a crazy weekend.

Now, we are relaxing and spending some time together before he has to leave on Tuesday, so I’m keeping this post short again. There are a few fun Austin things we want to do before he heads out, like go to Alamo Drafthouse and Town Lake, and of course get some yummy food.

I must say before I go, that this spring boho tunic is a new favorite in my closet. I love clothes that flow in the wind, like tunics and bell sleeves, because they just automatically make you look cute and romantic. Does anyone else feel that way?? It’s something about the movement. Also, if you haven’t noticed, I can’t get enough of this bag. I am such a sucker for neutral colored bags that go with everything, and the design of it can be dressed up or down, so I wear it so much.

Thanks for reading! Also, like I said last week, stay tuned because I have some really exciting news that I can’t wait to share!
