One trend I’ve been seeing everywhere is the pleated skirt. You can find them everywhere at every price point in all different colors and styles, and I jumped right on board the bandwagon. They’re swirly, feminine, fun, and perfect for the holidays. Below are a few of my favorite pleated skirts I’ve found lately, all under $100!
The Westin Hotel in Downtown Austin was the perfect setting to show off the movement of this gorgeous pleated skirt. I had a little party on their rooftop for my birthday a month ago and since then I have been obsessed with their view! It’s definitely one of the best public views of downtown I have seen because it has a direct view of the Frost Tower (the building with the pointy top). The Frost Tower is probably the most iconic building in the Austin skyline. It’s so unique and beautiful and stands out amongst the other more plain buildings, so when you have a perfect view of it, I consider it the best view of Austin. I also have talked about the Westin’s restaurant before, Stella San Jac, but I’m so in love. They have the most delicious craft cocktails, the best deviled eggs I’ve ever had in my life, and their biscuits…oh boy. Those biscuits are a Southern girl’s dream come true.
I’m keeping this post short because I am just swamped! I got the stomach flu (it has been going around like crazy here in Central Texas) and spent pretty much the whole Thanksgiving break recovering, so I’m pretty behind on a lot of stuff. However, I’m still in SUCH a good mood because Mike is coming in from LA tomorrow!!! It’s been about 3 1/2 weeks since I’ve seen him so I’m so glad he’s going to be back to visit for a while.
