Distressed and Blue

Tee: Target | Denim: Soho Girl | Sandals: Rebecca Minkoff | Chambray Shirt: Gianni Bini (old, similar) | Necklaces: House of Harlow 1960 (I got mine at Nordstrom Rack for $30) and Etsy | Rings: Kendra Scott and Pandora

Here I go again with my jewelry favorites and a solid-colored tee.

I feel like it comes through in my photos when I feel really comfortable in an outfit. I haven’t completely gotten used to the whole posing thing, but when I feel good it makes it a lot easier for me. I also felt confident in this outfit right away because when Mike saw what I was wearing he said that he loved it because it “looked like me.” I guess I have a pretty obvious style that I gravitate toward, especially when it comes to chill clothes like this.

We got back from San Antonio pretty early on Sunday, so Mike and I got to spend the whole day hanging out and doing nothing! It was so nice considering how crazy things have been lately.

After having such a busy weekend at Formal and with all the rain happening this week, I’m not sure when I’ll get a new blog post after this! AH! How can I get photos when it’s raining all day?! I’m having a bit of a blogger freak-out. Are any other bloggers feeling the same way?

Thanks for reading!

  1. Omg Hilary I totally feel your pain! I’m from Texas as well and I haven’t been able to take any pictures either! The gloomy weather also doesn’t help when trying to plan everyday outfits either! I’m a new blogger so I wasn’t quite sure what other bloggers do in this situation so I made a different kind of post that included some shopping tips (I’m a bargain shopper as well) and also the good deals I’ve gotten lately on the things I have bought! Hope we all get some sunshine soon so we can all get back to doing what we love! I also LOVE that Pandora ring! I think I need it lol!

  2. Love the relaxed vibe this outfit has. The details are so pretty, especially that necklace! When the weather gets bad, say rainy all the time, I always think how am I going to get my photos done?! Always a problem haha.

    1. Thank you, Amanda! And I know!! It is seriously raining for the next week here in Austin, I’m going to have to get creative I guess haha!
