Who’s ready for football season?? This girl is! The fondest memories from my college years at UT were going to football games with all my friends. I loved to get there early to watch all the pre-game action and videos, and always stayed until the end to hear The Eyes of Texas and watch the tower light up orange for a win. There was something so magical about it and I’ll never forget how I felt at those games.

I shop for burnt orange pieces to rep my Longhorns all year long and I was so excited to find this dress! I mentioned this in my last post, but when I was in school my organization had a uniform we wore to football games (white shirt, denim bottoms, burnt orange Spirits scarf) so we never got to wear burnt orange dresses. Now that I’m a UT alumna, I get to wear all the burnt orange I can dream of!

What I love about this dress is that it can so easily be transitioned into fall, which is obviously something I look for in my burnt orange items. I can already see it being worn with brown booties or even cowboy boots! I wasn’t that into wearing my cowboy boots to games when I got older because they hurt my feet #notatruetexan but if you’re into wearing yours, this dress would go great with them.

Also, I have to say again what total staples these Marc Fisher wedges are. They’re a bit of a dupe of these more expensive ones, but the quality is still amazing.  I got them for Christmas last year and I have worn them so many times to so many different occasions! I wore them for my Super Bowl game day style inspiration post too, and that was a completely different look.

Happy Wednesday, Y’all! I don’t know what your plans are, but I’m going to a F.R.I.E.N.D.S trivia night tonight!! I’m going to totally dominate hehe.

  1. Hey Hilary!

Can’t say enough great things about your blog. I’ve been following it for a couple months now, and this look is definitely my fave! Orange has always been my favorite color, unfortunately, I have a hard time finding the right shade of orange in most outfits, but this dress is perfection! Can’t wait for future posts 🙂
